Samaria Gorge: Is one of the National Parks of Greece and the only one in Crete. It starts at an altitude of 1227 m. at Xyloskalo near the village of Omalos(70 Km. from Hania) and ends after an 18 km walk to the beach at the village of Agia Roumeli on the south coast of Crete, from where the boats transport the people to Sfakia and after by bus to Chania.

Elafonissi Lagoon: One of the prettiest beaches in Chania - Crete and equally famous with Vai palm-forest beach. Pinkish sand and very shallow water. Do not miss to visit the cedar forest, with the wild natural beauty.

Mpalos Lagoon: One of the best beaches all over Greece. White-pinkish sand and broken sea-shells. The water in the lagoon is very shallow and warm.
